We are happy to announce another clowning workshop with Vivian Gladwell. An “Introduction To Clowning” is open to anybody who wants to experience this child-like, naïve and vulnerable state of being and explore the way of fully living in the present moment.
Vivian’s approach to clowning is not a technique but a personal journey towards finding one’s own unique way of being a clown, by listening and being receptive, essential skills for any creative and imaginative expression. It is only when we let go our control over things that we begin to be surprised by the depth of what reveals itself to us. Come for a weekend of letting go and freeing up!
This will be the first weekend workshop taking place at our new venue in Trpoměchy. The workshop starts on Friday 29 April at 7pm and finishes on Sunday 1 May at 1:30pm. The course fee is £80/CZK 2.800 (tuition only) or £100/CZK 3.500 including food and accommodation.
Vivian Gladwell is the founder and director of Nose to Nose and has given hundreds of workshops around the world. He lives both in the UK and France where he started clowning in 1978. Since then he has been an ambassador for the work by researching the applications of clowning in the context of teacher training, medicine, conflict management, ecology and intercultural work in many countries (South Africa, USA, Senegal, Vietnam, India, Malaysia, Italy, Germany, Norway…).
Our new venue in Trpoměchy near Slaný is located about 30 km northwest of Prague in close proximity to Václav Havel Airport Prague. The town of Slaný is part of the Prague metropolitan area easily accessible by public transport.
