FOLK DANCING (on Friday)
We will come together for an evening to learn circle dances and folk dances from a wide range of different cultures. Folk dancing is an essential human activity, found in all cultures around the world it highlights both our shared humanity and our rich cultural diversity. Come and explore folk dances of different times and cultures, get some good exercise and have lots of fun!
The session will be lead by Kevin Davidson who regularly facilitates at London’s premier dance venues such as the Royal Festival Hall. Kevin’s uplifting style will send you home with a smile on your face and a song in your hearts.
GAMES WORKSHOP (on Saturday)
This one-day workshop will offer a range of pedagogical games and activities which can be used with children to support their physical, emotional and spiritual development.
This workshop is designed to give adults a ‘lived experience’ of these games so that they may take them into their practice. Drawing from the principles of Bothmer movement, these activities also offer participants the potential for a deeper sense of physical and spatial awareness which can support personal growth and wellbeing.

DATES & TIMES:
The Circle Dancing workshop starts on Friday 8th November from 6 pm and runs till 8 pm.
The Games worskhop starts on Saturday 9th November from 9:00am and runs till 6:00 pm.
VENUE:
Both workshops take place in the Gym of ZŠ Dědina (Dědina Waldorf School) in Prague, Žukovského 580/6, 161 00 Praha 6-Liboc. The venue is easily accessible by public transport and within a short distance from Prague’s Václav Havel Airport.

COST:
Combined fee for both workshops is CZK 600/€ 25. Fee for the Circle Dancing evening session only is CZK 200/€ 8. Fee for a one-day Games Worskhop only is CZK 500/€ 20. Both workshops are sponsored by Prague 6 Municipal District Authority.

PRACTICAL INFORMATION:
Participants should bring comfortable training clothes, soft non-slip sneakers or gymnastic shoes. There is a possibility of eating out during the lunch break on Saturday in a nearby restaurant.
